The participant:

  • Will develop a deeper understanding of BMW’s requirements for collaboration, process quality, and shared responsibility for a zero-defect supply chain.
  • Will understand the relevant BMW processes along the product development process and series phase — from maturity level management, SE/META teamwork, and industrialization through to iPQ, requalification, claim management, and part traceability.
  • Will learn how transparency, early risk communication, stable processes, and consistent implementation of standards contribute to delivery capability, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Will receive a practical overview of further competence requirements, qualifications, and points of contact for collaboration with BMW.
  • Positioning of BMW quality requirements within the overall context of the product development process and series support.
  • Insights into current quality topics, maturity level management, SE/META teamwork, supply chain, digital shopfloor management, part traceability/BTRV 2.0 & Catena-X, iPQ, series phase, and the value-oriented production system.
  • Practice-oriented workshops on sub-supplier management, the industrialization phase, and the series phase, focusing on specific requirements, typical challenges, and effective implementation in collaboration with BMW.
  • Plant tours at the BMW Munich plant as well as a concluding BMW Welt tour, providing additional insights into production, the brand, and the customer experience.

Direct and indirect suppliers as well as partners who collaborate with BMW in the product development process, industrialization, or series support and would like to better understand and apply BMW’s requirements for quality, processes, and collaboration.

  • The training comprises approximately 16 hours in total and takes place as an in-person event over two days. For all suppliers worldwide, the training is held exclusively at BMW Headquarters in Munich.
  • All presentations and workshops are conducted in a practical, hands-on manner by internal BMW AG experts.
  • Participants receive exclusive insights through plant tours at the BMW Munich plant as well as an additional BMW Welt tour at the end of the event.
  • Location: Talent Campus Munich, Riesenfeldstraße 43, 80809 Munich.
  • Catering will be provided free of charge on site.
