The participant:

  • Learn how to shut down, start, and replace components on the vehicle.
  • Can manufacture/modify and conduct (under management and supervision) HV components.
  • Can work on high-voltage systems/components only under direction and supervision.
  • Basics and structure of HV system: Overview of HV components and functions.
  • Electrical hazards and protective measures + replacement measures.
  • Who is allowed to do what?
    • Organization of work.
    • Management and supervision.
    • Qualification.
    • Component replacement.
  • Handling vehicles/components and test benches.
  • Preparation of partners/suppliers for advanced or specialist qualification.
  • Partner/supplier who work independently on electrified vehicles, exclusive HV system.
  • Partner/Supplier who carry out work on the high-voltage system/components under direction and supervision.

Important information about the stickers

  • Please note that the HV stickers will be handed out at the end of the training by the trainer to all participants who have passed the examination.

Additional information

  • All employees who already have a Blitz 2 or 3 qualification do not have to complete the HV-1 course. In this case, it is sufficient to complete the WBT - HV-1 Delta. The assignment for this is done automatically by the system (Accordingly, the WBT cannot be found in myTMS).
  • Further information on the new HV qualification can be found under the following link.
  • To be eligible to participate in this course, you must have completed the following course: WBT - NEW: ELF/SENSITIZED PERSON HIGH VOLTAGE (ITEM_53007). This training can only be booked in myTMS via the BMW Group Partner Portal. (Currently this still applies for all Internal Driver Licence WBTs and related training courses, for they require a documentation in the the BMW Group IFA database).

In order to validate your QX number, please make sure to enter it directly in your profile on the platform.

IMPORTANT: Always state your currently active QX-number! Your learning history from previous QX-numbers must always be transferred to your current QX-number. The transfer is not done automatically; thus, you are responsible for requesting the transfer at itsd-german@bmw.com before you book this training.
